והוה לזמן סופא דשתא לעדן דנפקין מלכיא מן בית מלכותהון ביומי ירח ניסן ודבר יואב ית משרית אוכלסא וחביל ית ארעא בני עמון ואתא ואעיק על רבה ודוד הוה יתיב בירושלם ומחא יואב ית רבה וחבלה:
wkhblh rbh yth ywab wmkha byrwshlm ythyb hwh wdwd rbh el waeyq watha emwn bny area yth wkhbyl awklsa mshryth yth ywab wdbr nysn yrkh bywmy mlkwthhwn byth mn mlkya dnpqyn ledn dshtha swpa lzmn whwh
At the time of the return of the year, at the time when kings go out, Joab led out the army and wasted the country of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David stayed at Jerusalem. Joab struck Rabbah, and overthrew it.

ונסיב דוד ית כליל מלכהון מעל ראשיה ואשכחא מתקל קנטינר דדהבא סנינא ובה קביעא אבן טבא דהות טימין דידה קנטינר דדהבא סנינא היא הות אבנא שאבתא דסוברא ית רמוץ דהבא באוירא והות על ריש דוד ועדי קרתא אפיק סגי לחדא:
lkhda sgy apyq qrtha wedy dwd rysh el whwth bawyra dhba rmwts yth dswbra shabtha abna hwth hya snyna ddhba qnTynr dydh Tymyn dhwth Tba abn qbyea wbh snyna ddhba qnTynr mthql washkkha rashyh mel mlkhwn klyl yth dwd wnsyb
David took the crown of their king from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and there were precious stones in it. It was set on David’s head, and he brought very much plunder out of the city.

וית עמא דבה אגלי ומסאריתהון במסארין ובמוריגי סיפורין דפרזלא והיכדין עבד דוד לכל קרוי בני עמון ותב דוד וכל עמא לירושלם:
lyrwshlm ema wkl dwd wthb emwn bny qrwy lkl dwd ebd whykdyn dprzla sypwryn wbmwrygy bmsaryn wmsarythhwn agly dbh ema wyth
He brought out the people who were in it, and had them cut with saws, with iron picks, and with axes. David did so to all the cities of the children of Ammon. Then David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.

והות מן בתר כדין וקמת קרבא בגזר עם פלשתאי בכין קטל סבכי דמן חושת ית סיפי מבני ערפה דמן בני גבריא ואתברו:
wathbrw gbrya bny dmn erph mbny sypy yth khwshth dmn sbky qTl bkyn plshthay em bgzr qrba wqmth kdyn bthr mn whwth
After this, war arose at Gezer with the Philistines. Then Sibbecai the Hushathite killed Sippai, of the sons of the giant; and they were subdued.

והות תוב קרבא עם פלשתאי וקטל דוד בר ישי הוא גברא חסידא דהוה מתער משנתיה בפלגות ליליא לשבחא קדם יי ית לחמי אחוהי דגלית ביומא דקטל ית גלית דמן גת ואעא דמורניתיה הי כאכסן דגרדאין:
dgrdayn kaksn hy dmwrnythyh waea gth dmn glyth yth dqTl bywma dglyth akhwhy lkhmy yth yy qdm lshbkha lylya bplgwth mshnthyh mther dhwh khsyda gbra hwa yshy br dwd wqTl plshthay em qrba thwb whwth
Again there was war with the Philistines; and Elhanan the son of Jair killed Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam.

והות תוב קרבא בגת והוה תמן גבר דמכילתא ואצבעתיה אשתה בכל ידא ואשתה בכל רגלא סכומהון עשרין וארבעא ואוף הוא אתיליד לערפה מן גבריא:
gbrya mn lerph athylyd hwa wawp warbea eshryn skwmhwn rgla bkl washthh yda bkl ashthh watsbethyh dmkyltha gbr thmn whwh bgth qrba thwb whwth
There was again war at Gath, where there was a man of great stature, who had twenty-four fingers and toes, six on each hand and six on each foot; and he also was born to the giant.

וחסד ית ישראל וקטל יתיה יהונתן בר שמעא אחוהי דדוד:
ddwd akhwhy shmea br yhwnthn ythyh wqTl yshral yth wkhsd
When he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea, David’s brother, killed him.
